Final Decision On A Lipgloss Advert (Tuesday 21st - Friday 24th October 2008)

One day I was at home by myself on the phone to my boyfriend asking him what kind of an advert would I film? I was extremely confused and one question lead to another which confused the situation even more. As we was talking a Maybelline 16hour lipgloss wear advert appeared on T.V and I simply said "That's it, I'm going to shoot a lipgloss advert!!" I was very excited and knew I could draw out and write the dialogue for the advert.

Decision Of An Advert (Tuesday 21st October 2008)

After Laurie informed the class of a coursework project deciding on trailers, documentaries, music videos and adverts; I already knew I would choose an advert. But what kind of an advert would this be? Why would my advert be different from the other retailing adverts on T.V?

Day 1 (Tuesday 2nd December 2008)

Once the camera arrived my group and I decided on the roles we would like to take on during the filming and editing. We decided that Kyle would be the editor, Zaynah would be the camera-women and since I wrote the storyboard, I, therefore would be the director/actress of the advert.

The group and I then decided on the locations which we would incorporate into our scenes. Firstly, we decided we would film in the following locations:
  • College classrooms
  • Uxbridge Chimes (outside Debenhams)

After close analyses of various scenes we changed our locations to the following:

  • Hayes College Campus
